Code of Conduct

Version: 07 January 2026

1. Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all PSNG events (online and in-person), communication spaces, and situations in which people represent the network. It addresses members, organisers, participants, speakers, guests, and partners.

2. Function and framework

PSNG is an education-oriented, student-organised network focused on consciousness research. We do not provide therapy, do not facilitate substance trade, operate within German law, and explicitly understand peer formats as non-therapeutic.

3. Values & attitude

We build respectful, inclusive spaces, communicate in a science-based and accessible way, and acknowledge that psychedelics have scientific, cultural, and at times spiritual dimensions.

4. Personal & collective responsibility

Our decentralised structure relies on self-responsibility and mutual mindfulness. We address conflicts respectfully. Repeated violations may lead to exclusion.

5. Respect & anti-discrimination

We do not tolerate discrimination based on origin, gender, sexuality, disability, religion, age, or social position. Harassment, boundary violations and degrading communication are prohibited.

6. Confidentiality, data protection & privacy

We act in line with GDPR: explicit consent, protection of confidential content, no recordings or screenshots without permission.

7. Responsible care

We promote mindfulness, but do not replace therapy, clinical advice, or crisis support.

8. Scientific responsibility

We handle information responsibly, use credible sources, distinguish between evidence, open questions and personal experience, and avoid misinformation.

9. Law & harm reduction

Substance trade is excluded. Harm-reduction information serves educational purposes only — it does not constitute a consumption recommendation.

10. Conflicts of interest & commercialisation

Economic interests must be made transparent. Hidden advertising, manipulation or guru roles are excluded.

11. Representation & public communication

Representatives distinguish between personal opinion and network positions, and present PSNG accurately as an education-oriented student network.
